3 tips that will help you to succeed in any Competitive/Entrance Exam

So, you have decided to go for the competitive exam that has been your childhood dream. You want to achieve success as you are not that successful with girls. Your dream of the lifetime is to crack this exam and prove to everyone your worth. But there is a catch, millions like you have the same dream and are competing with you in the same exam.

The seats are limited and the entries are unlimited. So if we look at this on a mathematical fact you have the same chances that a lottery ticket buyer has. So your odds are not that good and if we have compared it with the lottery, you rest assured will not be selected because of your dumb luck. But as Stuart little's father said behind every heavy cloud, there is a silver lining. So what’s that lining. It's simple, sheer hard work. You might have heard from the elders there is no shortcut to hard work. You need to put in the effort if you want the results. So enough of the lecture let’s look at the practical steps you can take to achieve the required rank.

Control Your mind

Our mind is like a monkey and it jumps here and there for no particular reason. To concentrate on your studies you need to have willpower and a strong mindset to overcome your shaky mind. You can do meditation, brain exercises, and eat healthy food. To have a stable mind, you also need to stay away from short content, which is decreasing your concentration level. And the one who won their mind has already won the battle, they just need to do the work now.

Control your Environment

You also need to control your environment. You cannot blame your mind totally as if you are in a surrounding that has a lot of disturbance you will not be able to concentrate. If you are in a perfect environment and then you're not able to study. It is your fault. You should be focused on your goal and you shouldn't let distractions come in your way.

You need to set up some rules like setting up a block of time for studies. Keep your phone on silent, and put a water bottle beside you, and if your mind wanders here and there try to bring it back to the moment and study. You also cannot study at a continuous pace. You need to take a 5 to 10-minute break every once in a while. But be sure that that break is not extended for two hours.

Fire

You must have a strong zeal for your goal. Or you may be like “thukra ke mera pyaar mera intekaam dekhegi”.

Have self-confidence

Be confident that you will be able to achieve your goal. If you doubt yourself then you have lost the will to fight. So strive to make steady advancements. If you are not sure about this then, of course, your crazy mind will find excuses and your life will start flashing, You'll start to remember all of your failures and your shortcomings. You will get nervous and you will look for a Plan B. But if you are confident that you can crack that exam then you might have a chance. There is nothing impossible in this world.

What if I fail?

Well if you are not able to achieve that goal even after so much hard work and sacrifice, it's not like the world has ended. You still get another chance. And even if it was your last attempt still the world hasn't ended because the possibilities are endless. The point of being a human is that you never give up and just keep striving. As Itachi Uchiha has said, “one’s life does not end when one dies, it does when one loses faith”. So never lose faith in yourself.
